The sibling duo TWO LANES combines piano recordings with analog synthesizers and electronic beat elements to create their distinctive sound. The duo, consisting of German brothers Leo and Rafa, has built a loyal following worldwide. Raised in a musical family, the two brothers pursued different musical paths during their youth. Leo showed an interest in playing the piano at an early age and eventually studied at The Juilliard School in New York City, where he earned a master’s degree in historical performance practice. Rafael, on the other hand, has always been fascinated by the possibilities of electronic music. He spent countless hours experimenting with sound design and electronic production. Eventually, the brothers realized that their talents complemented each other perfectly, and that’s how TWO LANES came to be. With their atmospheric and expansive sound, TWO LANES is well on its way to becoming a major force in electronic music in the coming years.
