Music between dream and reality, psychedelic and yet easygoing like a surfing day. Skinshape is the studio project of British musician and producer William Dorey. Skinshape grew out of a love for old music and the way it sounded. The sound has roots in many genres, but in particular 1960s-70s Funk, Reggae, Library music, Psychedelic Rock, African music and Folk. William was also a founding member of the band Palace (2014-2017) and has been running his own reggae record label called Horus Records since 2014. The 5-person live band will be playing Skinshape's works, both new and old.
Skinshape returns to Switzerland after a sold out show at Dynamo Zürich, this time to our beloved Kuppel Basel.

Support: Fiona Fiasco

Fiona Fiasco, born in the Swiss Alps, grew up speaking the Romansh language. Her nature-filled childhood shapes her music — playful, cinematic, evoking misty mountain villages. Influenced by folk songs and local radio, she began songwriting rooted in the past. Through her SoundArt-Studies, Fiasco gained a more artistic approach to making music, resulting in the deeply evocative debut EP ‘Blue Rider, Blue Faced’. In November 2025, Fiona Fiasco introduced her world with striking clarity through the first single Stacy: A conversation with a ghost friend, a playful séance that earned lots of praise since. The song was joined in January by an Americana-tinged folk desert named ‘Wasteland’, and finally, on February 27th, by the 6 Track EP ‘Blue Rider, Blue Faced’. The EP flickers and shimmers eclectically, yet remains cohesive without drawing an obvious thread through everything. Listening to the EP, you often find yourself in a gently bewildered state. The songs almost seem to wave at you, like gentle spirits passing through. They invite you in for tea or to hover alongside them for a brief moment.
