La Nefera x Polarbaeren

What began in 2025 as a collaboration at the Project Agora Festival is now set to become one of the most exciting live moments in the Swiss alternative music scene: La Nefera and Polarbaeren are releasing their first joint album, VISA.
After Polarbaeren won the “Out of Genre” Demo Tape Clinic at m4music last year, they enter 2026 with the first official release of their collaboration with La Nefera. The charismatic rapper, known for her powerful voice and her blend of Latin American influences, hip-hop, and electronic sounds, meets Polarbaeren’s unique approach - a fusion of microscopic beats, club music, and climate jazz.
What sounds like a contrast on paper takes on a surprising naturalness when performed live: complex, energetic, and yet accessible. Two generations, two contexts, and two unmistakable styles merge into a shared artistic statement. This unique festival encounter evolved into a multi-layered album project during an intensive
production phase. VISA stands for creative openness, shifting perspectives, and musical courage—a collaboration that not only questions genre boundaries but redefines them.

La Yegros

LA YEGROS, who has been crowned the Queen of Nu-Cumbia, is a leading figure in world music and is known for cult hits such as “Viene de Mi” and “Chicha Roja.”
In 2024, driven by a desire for discovery and innovation, she enriches her discography with new sounds, blending Latin American folklore, reggae, ska, and electronic music into “HAZ,” a unique, pulsating, and decidedly modern album. La Yegros’ “Folklore 2.0”—at times delicate, at times rousing—celebrates love in all its complexity. The album, which uses the stage as a playground, transforms into an energetic live performance: striking synthesizers, electronic textures, and powerful rhythms amplify her exuberant energy. The new show promises an even more intense and explosive experience.
